New York is the most difficult state in which to get a religious exemption for vaccines. (Only Mississippi and West Virginia are worse, since they don't allow religious exemptions at all, only medical).

Depending on the school district, they may even question the parent with a school lawyer present. I don't mean to scare you, only to prepare you. Some schools have you sign a form. I wasn't vaccinated for our religious beliefs and all our parents had to do was verbally tell them it was against our religion.


Times have changed though, but the paper with your signature will suffice.

I've heard of this religion but not sure if you can still do that.


I remember they made a huge deal over a child not getting a much needed surgery and died. So after that things changed a bit but anyways talk with the school and see what needs to be done. They're might be a special school for them to go to.

rdtotten... if you disagree with vaccine choice, then you might as well have an informed viewpoint... generationrescue.org, thinktwice.com, vacinfo.org, and there are many more. The CDC is also a great site for research into the actual ingredients of these ';safe'; concoctions... like formaldehyde, mercury is still used, aluminum, animal and fetal tissue. Sounds like science fiction, right? Check out the risks and benefits for yourself. Don't count on mainstream media for your info!
Give up your kids and the state will make sure they are safe. This sounds harsh but come on give the kids the best chance possible in every way possible.
Ask the school their policy. Usually it is just a form you have to fill out.
When you go register your child you will have to sign a waver
