In the UK extra wide parking spaces are available to make it easier to get a baby in and out of a car seat. They are usually parked in by single people without children or parents with children of about 11 or 12 years of age!Do you have parent and child parking spaces in the rest of the world?
Ha ha ha...excellent! That is so great...here people honk their horn at you or give you a dirty look when you are trying to get your kid out and they are trying to pull into the space. Those are the same people that don't let you cross the parking lot when you are standing there holding a 20 pound baby...fuckers.Do you have parent and child parking spaces in the rest of the world?
yes we have them but i can never get in them for a people in big cars no kids, disable drivers even though they have there own spaces, lazy people who just can't be brothered to walk across car park
Where ever there's a war zone you'll find plenty.
We have those in Canada.
in TX we have ';expentant mothers'; parking spaces, as if they are handicapped or something. what the hell? i think it's nuts. if the mother is well enough to go out and buy groceries, she's well enough to walk the same paces we all walk to get inside the building. if she's that frail, she needs to freakin' stay home and get a pesonal shopper or something.
stupid. when i'm pregnant, i'll park with all the non-handicapped people.
Does the sign specify what age the child has to be to qualify for the parent to park in such a space? If not, then there is no reason to complain as these people are parents and have children.
Here in the US I've seen special parking for expectant mothers at one grocery store and parent/child parking spaces at a mall. It's not a widespread practice. (at least in the area I live) And thank god! These people are not handicapped! Why do they need special spaces? It makes no sense to me.
Yes, I have been pregnant and have a child. Honestly, I never had (or have) a problem with parking in a regular space. Geesh! I think some people are just lazy. Leave these types of spaces to people who need them - the handicapped!
Who came up with the brainless idea to make these spaces any way? There is no way to enforce them and the whole idea is just stupid.
in Us we do actuelly every wher does y do u ask?
where i'm from(Arkansas) we dont have those... but some stores have parking for expectant mothers...but they are just like handycap parking..some people dont care what they say they just want to be parked close to the door
I've been to one store in the US that had a few spaces for parents with young children close to the store sort of like handicapped spots.
nope, not in kansas, although they would be nice
you know i just hate it when ppl without kids park in the parent and child spaces in the uk.
Thank God I have a baby now :) lol...
