As for the poster who blame the parents for not having insurance, how do you know she doesn't? Insurance does not mean automatic 100% coverage.





And when Megyn Kelly interviewed Cali's controller, he said the parent should apply with some long paper trail agency for assistance, yeah right! And when asked if Cali plans on paying back with interest, of course the answer was NO!





And Megyn made it clear that money belongs to the individuals NOT the state! Isn't that like stealing from the people adding insult to injury?





As for cubicles? Duh! Since when is remodeling office cubicles more important than a child's needs? The parents have the money, they worked for it, but the good old gvt won't cough it up.





And they want to enforce socialized medicine also? Just give the people their money and they will probably spend it much better than the gvt does.
Ah, California... Where dreams come true then the bill comes due. The folks I feel sorry for in California are the ones who live inland and have a life outside the liberal realm of politics. Those hard working folks who are no different from most the rest of us. Most of those haven't bought into the basic California philosophy of life is like a movie where all goes well, ends well, and all problems are solved by the someone else. In their case, the government. Their unemployment rate places their state at number 48 in the nation at 9.3%.and a lot of it is because companies have left their state over high taxes and the excessive cost of living. ...and they haven't located to other countries, but to other states where the tax burden is far less. They listened to liberals and voted themselves into a mess and now they wait for federal money - my money and yours to bail them out of more failed liberal policies than their dwindling state income from high taxes will cover. The lady who waits for money the State owes her by way of a refund is near the end of a long line of welfare, disabliity, drug programs, library funds, State sanctioned surf board functions, the State funded arts, and the list goes on forever. Liberals are like that. Their thinking seems more in the order of it is far better to save a tree than a human life so perhaps when California accepts OUR money to bail THEM out I'm sure the lady will get her refund and hopefully her daughter will still be alive to benefit from it. At least until then we know their trees are safe, the habitat of various species are protected, and the arts have survived. as I said; California, where dreams come true then the bill comes due.
why should you have to beg for your tax return, you work that money fair and square and if you ask I don't even believe we should pay taxes. so Cali should really get it together,cubicles over a child's health...not a good look!
California has embraced socialism, and has become a welfare state. As with countries that have tried this, California is now broke. I hope the other states are watching and learning.

The kids took over the California candy store years ago and now California is reaping the results. Think of it as a preview for the rest of the country.
