Can you legally drink if you are 21 in the state of Ohio with a parent at a bar?

My best friend is getting married and her sister is not 21 but is the Maid of Honor we are all going out for her Bachelorette party and their Mom is going but will she be able to drink at the bars in Ohio? Can you legally drink if you are 21 in the state of Ohio with a parent at a bar?
She can as long as she isn't carded. If they ask for her ID then they will not serve her if she's under 21.Can you legally drink if you are 21 in the state of Ohio with a parent at a bar?
In every state in the US, the drinking age is 21. And the only reason the laws are uniform is because the Federal Government threatens to withhold federal highway funds if states do no assimilate.

In Ohio though, a parent can serve alcohol to their child, not matter what their age. This includes in bar and restaurants. The bar could refuse to serve the child, but that is their choice, not dictated by law.

People traveling from abroad will discover the US's drinking laws are rather archiac and stupid, and exist solely to appease the anti-alcohol segment of the voting population. And this is coming from a non drinker, who things the whole thing idiotic. (withholding rant)

Edit: A side note, in Ohio the penalty for underage consumption is a $100 fine. While statute allows more a larger fine and jail time, in practice judges tend to give out $100 fines only.
If she's not 21 she cannot drink in ohio
