Is it against the law for a parent to constantly cus out their child and call them derogatory names?

Is it something a kid could bring up, maybe even change custody...what about the parent, would a parent have to face any loss? I am just curious lolIs it against the law for a parent to constantly cus out their child and call them derogatory names?
It is called Emotional Maltreatment, and it is something that CPS could intervene on if they knew about it. They wouldn't necessarily take the kid away, but they would probably try to get the parent to participate in services to learn how to be better with their kid.Is it against the law for a parent to constantly cus out their child and call them derogatory names?
Thank you, Haveing Problems also!
