Livelsberger, of Conewago Township, admitted in Adams County court that she had been smoking marijuana with her son since he was 11, and that she often gave it to him as a reward.
The boy told police that he was required to do his homework as soon as he got home from school, and then was allowed to smoke marijuana with his mother, according to court documents.
Livelsberger pleaded guilty to misdemeanor charges of corruption of minors, possession with intent to deliver drug paraphernalia, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a small amount of marijuana and possession of a small amount of marijuana with intent to distribute.
The plea did not stipulate a sentence.Is she a nominee for worst parent of the year or what?
How about the one where a wife sold her daughter to her boyfriend for sex on 21 different occassions because the mother had surgery and was unable to have sex with the boyfriend. The daughter was 14 years old. The daughter was willing because she was getting paid approximately 300 dollars a time, but didn't enjoy it very much. After her surgery recovered, the mother and boyfriend repeatedly paid the 14 year old to have sex with BOTH of them. Now that is worst parent of the year.Is she a nominee for worst parent of the year or what?
it's really ignorant to immediately label someone as a bad person just for marijuana use. it's one of the least addicting and harmful substances known. the only reason it's labeled as 'wrong' is entirely political propaganda stemming from the early 1900s and that's just because of corporate scandals

At least he was doing his homework. And at least he was doing it openly at home. If there's anything to be greatful for, it's that he wasn't out smoking with his friends and getting in trouble.
Man my mom would have just grounded the heck out of me if I didn't do my homework back when I was in school. I could never image giving my children marijunana as a reward. She's getting sentenced on my son's 3rd birthday and I hope they put her in jail for a while.
I think she had somewhat good intentions I mean she was getting him to do homework and obviously teaching him to act responsibly....but what she failed to do is follow in her child's example of acting responsibly and gave her child marijuana as a reward....I guess it was a swing and a miss in the judgment department for that Mom....

I hadn't heard this story...I try to avoid watching the news because it either upsets me or makes me angry, and this would have got my blood boiling! It's very sad that people feel they can live this way without any repercussions. It's good that she got caught.

a friend of mine in high school had 2 doctors for parents and he went to princeton....he smoked pot almost every night in high school. he said it helped him concentrate on his homework....

One in the UK has recently been imprisoned for giving her son (about 11) either heroin or crack. Even when he was taken in to care, she used to wait outside the school to try and slip him a fix. Thankfully, he is now with foster parents, and doing well. The mind boggles.
why does everyone get down on stoners? i agree it is wrong to give a child pot at least until they are in high school where they will most likely get it from their friends. but hey she got her kid to do his homework. also not all stoners are lazy losers. i smoke everyday and i have two jobs i work 60 hours a week. i am productive i am in decent health. i just love smoking the ganja, it relaxes me.

I've seen worse....I don't know if it's bad or stupid. Maybe a lot of both. At least she knew she did something wrong, because she had no problem pleading guilty.
