I really want a cute little freindly puppy my dog was a siberian huskey he died march 1st so im willing to get another puppy mabey by august what should it be and why ??What kind of dog should my parent's get and why?
Why don't you tell us a little more about yourself and your family, so that we have some sort of idea what type of dog will be best....

What size dog are you looking for?

How big is your yard?

Is it fenced in?

How big is your home?

How much exercise will the dog get?

How much grooming are you willing do?What kind of dog should my parent's get and why?
I reccomend The italian greyhound. Althought its smaller than it larger realtive the Greyhound. Its affectionate personailty and big eyes make you fall in love. The Italian Greyhound is affectionate and makes a good companion dog. The breed is excellent for families and enjoys the company of people. I hope I helped you in your search for a new dog.

adopt a dog- to many dogs and cats are put down each year (i'm talking 100's of 1000's) from people continueing to breed... and if you don't please please please get it desexed!!!!

i wouldn't usually get a small dog until i met holly... my parents adopted a king charles cavaleir that was used for breeding from PAWS. They have the most affectionate nature and holly talks in her own little moaning language, you do it then she'll do it back and have this whole conversation with you. don't get one if there's heaps of ticks where you are though... not worth the risk.

they just love being with you and have a very cute way of playing, there gorgeous and don't have many health problems and they don't eat much or need to much exercise, although they do love going for walks and seeing other dogs, there very sociable....
a english staffy they are loyal not too big and they will look after your folks to the end. And they are really loving dogs not to mention cute A small apartment would be ok if the dog is properly exercised daily. They don't tend to bark too much, so noise wouldn't be a factor. great with kids
This isn't a question that others can answer for you. The ideal puppy for me may be a nightmare for you. You need to narrow your choices down to a few different breeds and then read about them so you're making the best choice for you. Take a trip to your local shelter too. You may end up having a puppy choose you instead.
Consider a greyhound. They are loving, clean and dont need alot of exercise. The are lazy dogs and will sleep all day if you let them. Greys dont bark and dont loose much hair. I have two and they are the easiest dogs i have ever had. They are an ideal family dog and if you get one from a rescue home you are doing some good.
I think that your parents are getting a little older a smaller lovable dog would be a good choice for them! I think that they should get a miniature dachshund! These dogs are adorable, low maintenance, extremely lovable, and just the right size!

Good luck in your search!
If you want a toy(mini, not literally a toy) get a min pin(mini pinscher)

If you want a good guard dog get a german sheppard.

If you want a playful dog get a pointer or a labrador retriever.
I had a Lab and a Rottweiller and both are very good dogs. Very loving to there owners as well as VERY protective. I know that Rots get a bad rep, but they are one of the best types of dogs out there. If raised properly they are great with kids. Good luck.
i think shih tzu because it is shih tzu is an alert dog, lively dog and very intelligent and gentle a

thanks for viewing!!!!
A lab or golden retriever, their so nice and cute. Their not hyper or vicious either.
