If you get a tattoo under 18, does the tattoo shop need some sort of proof that the parent is the real parent?

Do you need to bring like a birth certificate or something? If you get a tattoo under 18, does the tattoo shop need some sort of proof that the parent is the real parent?
Sounds like your up to no good. Just wait and if you want the same tattoo when your 18 go get it legallyIf you get a tattoo under 18, does the tattoo shop need some sort of proof that the parent is the real parent?
you need your birth certificate and a government issued photo id (like a passport). your parent will need to bring their license. they will check if last names match up
you do need parent's consent...they would definitely ask for identification...it differs on the artist what kind of ID they ask for.
u both need photo ids %26amp; u need ur birth certificate
Yup, I was 17 and I had to bring my birth certificate.
