Can you sue a parent for child support even if all kids are of age?

We are all of legal age now, my parents are still ';legally'; married but my mom never filled child support. Do i have that right to sue my father for child support? Can you sue a parent for child support even if all kids are of age?
No. Child support is due the custodial parent, not the child. In other words, it's your mother's money, not yours, and only she had standing to sue for it.

I say ';had,'; because support is only collectible from filing, not birth. It's too late to file for support on behalf of children already past the age of majority. Can you sue a parent for child support even if all kids are of age?
Yes you have the right, your mother doesn't. I know an 18 year old girl that sued her dad and won 18K a few years ago, she used it to go to nursing school. Just saw your first answer, trust me on this one, you absolutely CAN sue your father for back child support. Call a lawyer and get started. He owes it to you, do not feel bad about it.
As lame as this may seem, it really depends on the State you live in and the manipulation of the law. but you may want to try real hard not to step on your Mom's toes as well or you may find yourself in a real storm unless she agrees to see an attorney with you. Good luck.
Nope sorry you need to make it on your own. If your mom survived without the money and didn't ask for it there was obviously a reason but it was for her to raise you and provide for you not for you to fill your own pockets.
Ya know, even if you do have the right, Why are you so hateful? Why not just move on and try to enjoy your grown up years. Is it worth the headaches of fighting? If you think it is, then I feel sorry for you. You've missed the lesson.
If your mother never got a divorce. It is hard to say, you will probably have to prove he did nothing to support his children. I would ask a lawyer. You may be able to get free legal advice for the first consultation.
Nope
