Is it possible for a child to become a citizen through a parent?

If a father has gotten his citizenship, is it possible for a child who is under 18 yrs old to be given citizenship by filling out an application? and wat is the name of the application? Is it possible for a child to become a citizen through a parent?
yes it is possible. im not sure of the name of the application but if you call and ask a immigration attorney i am sure they will tell you the form at no cost. their are many different one and he may need a certain one. children process faster ecspecially bc the father already got his paper work. that is a def yes! good luck!Is it possible for a child to become a citizen through a parent?
If the child was living in USA with the father as a legal permanent resident, then the child will have received citizenship at the same time the father did.

BUT if the child was NOT living with the father at the time the father got his citizenship, the father MUST then petition for his child to immigrate to USA, and the child must go through the entire process (same as the father did) and must then live in USA for 5 years before the child is eligible to become a US citizen.
Under the Child Citizenship Act of 2000 (CCA) a child born on or after February 28, 1983 becomes a US Citizen if prior to the child becoming 18 one of his parents has been naturalized as a US Citizen and the child is residing legally in the US (LPR).

If this is the case the form is N-600

To ash... you can tell from word pacing. You can even tell age of the person who answered.
You don't need to be a citizen anymore.
