Wow. As someone here said, get more information on schizophrenia so you won't take what s/he does personally. The parent may be reacting to things you don't see or hear (i.e. they are psychotic at that moment).
It might help if you got some counseling to help you deal with the massive burden of a mentally ill parent and the grief that you have no parent, but basically a patient instead. How am I supposed to deal with a schizophrenic parent who inadvertly is 99.9% rejecting of me.?
First of all, you need to do some serious research and find out more about the illness if you have a parent dealing with it. I realize that answers can be a great place for information, but no one on here can provide you with what you can get from in depth research.
Schizophrenia causes people to become fearful and withdrawn from people and things. Maybe your parent is rejecting you because he/she is fearful of you or the voices in their head. Do some research.
Because your parent has Schizophrenia, I seriously doubt the rejection is inadvert. How am I supposed to deal with a schizophrenic parent who inadvertly is 99.9% rejecting of me.?
What makes you think that their rejection of you in inadvertent? Maybe they really don't want you around.
try to understand it is their problem (nothing
that you have done or can do)
